Application Process

The recruitment rules for the 2024/2025 academic year will be updated soon.

The main recruitment is organized once a year at the turn of March and April for the mobility in the next academic year. Mostly there are also two additional recruitments organized in June and October.

 

You can apply within the main recruitment in March and additional recruitment in June if you are a student of: 

  • full-time or part-time studies 
  • 1st year of bachelor degree studies- you can apply for summer semester of the next academic year only  
  • 2nd year of bachelor degree studies – you can apply for winter or summer semester of the next academic year 
  • 3rd year of bachelor degree studies (excluded students of the 3,5- bachelor degree in Logistics)- you can apply for summer semester of the next  academic year only (you need to take up master degree studies at UEKat) 
  • 1st year of master degree studies- you can apply for winter or summer semester of the next academic year only 
  • 1st semester of 1,5- master degree in Logistics- you can apply for winter or summer semester of the next academic year 

You cannot take part in the recruitment if you are a students of the 6th semester of 3,5-bachelor degree in Logistics. 

You can apply within the additional recruitment in October if you are a student of: 

  • full-time or part-time studies 
  • 2nd and 3rd year of bachelor degree studies 
  • 1st and 2nd year of master degree studies (also graduates of bachelor degree studies of  different universities) 

You cannot take part in the recruitment if you are a student of the 7th semester of 3,5-bachelor degree in Logistics. 

Minimum grade average- 3.5 

You need to have minimum grade average of 3.5 from all the completed semesters including the winter semester within a particular level of studies. The average grade is calculated by the Dean’s Office and send directly to the International Relations.

Recommendation of the Dean 

In order to be qualified for the Erasmus+ programme you need to receive a full or conditional recommendation of the Dean. The Dean’s decision is given to the International Relations by the Dean’s Office.

Approval of the BA/MA Thesis Supervisor 

You need to receive an e-mail approval from their BA/MA thesis supervisor and send it to the International Relations in case of a mobility on your last semester of studies. International Relations office will ask you for the supervisor’s approval after your qualification for the program. If you were unable to choose a supervisor during the recruitment you need to send the consent as soon as possible after her/his selection. 

Language of instruction- B2 

You need to know the language of instruction of the partner university on the B2 level. If the language certificate/ confirmation from a language instructor is required by the university, you need to upload it into the system while submitting the application form. The language certificate requirements are included in the file with the list of universities available in the recruitment.

Previous participation in the Erasmus+ Programme 

The formalities related to your previous participation in the Erasmus+ programme must be finalized, except for students staying during the recruitment at the partner university. 

 

Application during your Erasmus+ stay abroad

Main recruitment in March and additional recruitment in April/May

You may apply for another Erasmus+ scholarship only for a stay in the summer semester of the next academic year (excluding students of the double degree programmes) and you are advised to choose partner universities that start their summer semester after the end of the winter exam session at UEKat. 

Additional recruitment in October: 

You have no possibility to take part in the recruitment during your Erasmus+ stay abroad. 

Eligibility for the mobility

The final qualification for the mobility is provided by the Erasmus+ University Coordinator and the Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations.

Appeal against qualification results

Students have the right to appeal against the decision within 7 days from the date of receiving information about the qualification results from the International Relations. The appeal should be addressed to the Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations through the International Relations. The Vice-Rector has 14 days to make a decision, which should be treated as final.

Resignation from the Erasmus+ scholarship in previous years 

If your resignation from the Erasmus+ scholarship in previous years was caused by some important personal issues (explained at the time of resignation to the International Relations in an e-mail) or by restrictions caused by covid-19 or an early resignation from a randomly selected university, you can take part in the recruitment for the next academic year.  

PhD Students 

As PhD student you can apply for the Erasmus+ grant on the basis of individual arrangements made with the International Relations, after verification of the academic offer of a particular university.
