The section has operated since December 2015, with the prime aim of networking risk management researches from Poland and the remainder of the CEE countries. In particular, the purpose of the ERRN Poland section is:
→ to promote the activities of ERRN in Poland and the remainder of the CEE countries,
→ to update the record of the research of members of the section and channel the results to other ERRN members
→ to take actions to enhance the cooperation of members of the section in interdisciplinary research, and by this strengthen their networking
