Dr Anna Doś at the International Congress Of Ethics And Sustainable Development
On 32th of May Anna Doś, PhD participated in the International Congress Of Ethics And Sustainable Development. The congress integrates scientists from Polish and foreign universities, business representatives, representatives of local governments and leading experts involved in the promotion of business ethics and sustainable development. Dr Anna Doś presented a paper titled: “Bonuses in the banking sector – institutionalisation of sweating?”.

WE START COOPERATION WITH BETAMED
On Friday, December 18th University of Economics in Katowice, represented by prof. Robert Tomanek, PhD - Vice-Rector for Organisational Affairs, Finance and Development enters into the agreement on cooperation with BetaMed S.A. represented by Beata Drzazga, the President of Executive Board.
Invited guests were: prof. Andrzej Piosik, PhD, Dean of Faculty of Finance and Insurance, and prof. Artur Walasik, PhD, Head of Department of Corporate Finance and Insurance, and Curator of the Major "Health Care Finance and Management". The very aim of agreement is to arrange the wide range of collaboration fields, in particulars: the art of health economics, the education of students, the implementation of academic konowledge into practice of health service finance and management. In event there participated also: Joanna Błach, PhD, Anna Doś, PhD, Maria Gorczyńska, PhD, and Monika Wieczorek-Kosmala, PhD, the academics of Department of Corporate Finance and Insurence involved in a project.
