"The True Costs of Environmental Risk Exposure to Silesia - CERES" project will significantly contribute to increasing the quality and internationalization of research conducted by the scientific staff and young scientists of our University, which is among the priorities of the Development Strategy of the University of Economics in Katowice for 2018-2025 and a condition for obtaining international accreditations. University staff will be able to benefit from advice, remarks and suggestions from Prof. Steffen Andersen, allowing them to improve their research skills in the field of cognition and application of the natural experiment method. In addition, the topic of the research relates to the relevant and timely theme of climate policy and its understanding in our region (Silesia).
The substantive supervision of the project is provided by dr hab. Monika Wieczorek-Kosmala, prof. UE., who is conducting this initiative with the support of Internationalization.
The project has been co-financed by the Metropolis GZM within the framework of the "Metropolitan Science and Education Support Fund" program for the years 2019-2022 in the amount of PLN 79,468.00.
