Research and Knowledge Transfer Center

The Research and Knowledge Transfer Center (Polish acronym: CBiTW) (until 25.03.2015 Center for Research and Expertise) was established in 1995 and functions as a university-level organizational unit of the University of Economics in Katowice. The founder and long-term Director of the Research and Expertise Center was prof. dr hab. Zofia Kędzior.

The mission of the Center is to integrate the scientific and research environment in the process of providing professional research, consulting and educational services.

CBiTW is registered in "Central Consultancy Register PHARE/TACIS" in Brussels under the entry No POL-20548. Since 1998, CBiE has been a member of the Network of Visegrad Group Countries (Réseau PGV).
