The University of Economics in Katowice is one of the oldest universities in Upper Silesia, one of the five state-run universities of economics in Poland, and the largest university in the region educating students in the field of socio-economic sciences.

The university is a centre of student, academic and business life. Our academic community is open to cooperation with the environment, creating and implementing economic and managerial knowledge for the development of the region, the country and abroad.

The University of Economics in Katowice is not only a campus located in the centre of Katowice-it also includes a branch campus in Rybnik, where students can study in full-time first-cycle programmes, part-time first- and second-cycle programmes, as well as in postgraduate programmes.
