
Overview
BAUHAUS4EU is an alliance within the European Universities initiative involving 10 universities across Europe, including the University of Economics in Katowice. This transnational alliance focuses on long-term collaboration based on shared values by creating a sustainable, inclusive, and culturally enriching future for urban and rural regions by fostering regional cooperation, systemic institutional and educational transformation. The alliance work is aligned with the objectives of the European Education Area, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the European Commission’s New European Bauhaus initiative.
The European Universities initiative is a program supported by the European Commission that aims to strengthen cooperation between universities in Europe, promoting shared values and enhancing the quality of education. There are currently 64 alliances operating in Europe. Poland has representatives in 30 of them – that's a total of 32 universities.
