Deadlines for submitting applications for scholarships in the academic year 2022/2023
- Applications for need-based scholarship and disabled students' allowance, along with a set of required documents, should be submitted between September 5, 2022 and October 20, 2022. The income entitling to apply for need-based scholarship in the academic year 2022/23 is 1000 PLN net worth per month per person in the student's family.
- Applications for the Rector's scholarship, along with a set of required documents, should be submitted between September 5, 2022 and October 20, 2022. In case of students and graduates of the University of Economics in Katowice, the grade point average (including the one in Appendix 4a) will be completed by the Dean's Office after the application is submitted.
- Applications for emergency financial aid, along with a set of required documents, can be submitted beginning from September 5, 2022. Applications can be submitted during the academic year in an event of circumstances entitling the applicant to receive financial aid.
Submission of need-based scholarship after the deadline listed in the announcement will result in shortening of the time period for which the grant is paid, with the payment beginning from the month following the one in which the application was submitted.
Information on how to apply (for students based in Katowice):
In order to apply for a scholarship, an appointment should be made via Google Calendar with the person in charge of the corresponding study program. The appointment should be made from and using an email in the uekat domain, writing the following in the description: name, current study program, type of scholarship.
Types of Google Calendar appointments:
- "socjalne/zapomoga" – for students applying for need-based scholarship and/or emergency financial aid.
- "rekt/niepełnospr." – for students applying for Rector's scholarship and/or disabled students' allowance.
In case of simultaneous application for need-based scholarship/emergency financial aid along with the Rector's scholarship/disabled students' allowance, please, pick the "socjalne/zapomoga" Google Calendar meeting option:
ATTENTION
According to the Rules and Regulations, applications should be submitted in Polish. All documents prepared in a foreign language and attached to the application must be translated by a sworn translator into Polish.
Students who do not hold Polish citizenship and use bank accounts registered outside the Republic of Poland additionally submit Appendix No. 7."
