  1. When is the deadline for submitting documents after I have completed my internship?

Students have to submit the original Internship Completion Form to the Bureau within 2 weeks of the commencement of the new academic year – when the internship is completed within a no-class period or no later than within of completing the internship – when the internship was completed over the course if the academic year.

  1. What documents do I need in order to have work credited as compulsory internship?

Students need to prepare their Internship Completion Form, fill it in and then obtain a signature of a person from the enterprise, a signature of their supervisor and a signature of the Dean.   1. What documents do I need in order to have a previously completed internship credited as compulsory internship?

Students need to prepare their Internship Completion Form, fill it in and then obtain a signature of a person from the enterprise, a signature of their supervisor and a signature of the Dean. Please read the requirements for the duration of a previously completed internship and education codes, available on the website.

  1. What should I do if I do not have a supervisor?

If you do not have a supervisor, the Dean will designate a person who will be authorised to sign documents pertaining to your internship. Please contact the Dean to find out who holds this position.

  1. What should I do if I cannot contact my supervisor?

If you cannot contact your supervisor, or your supervisor is outside the University for a significant period of time:

  • Obtain a signature of the substitute of your supervisor or the Head of the Department;

  • Do the supplementary internship and after its completion, have it credited as compulsory internship;

  • Do the internship without an agreement with the University (but having agreed on it with the enterprise beforehand) and after its completion, have it credited as compulsory internship.

It is not permissible to sign the student compulsory internship agreement without the signature of the supervisor or their substitute.

  1. How should I fill in the tasks performed over the course of the internship?

The tasks performed over the course of the internship have to be agreed upon with the enterprise, which acts as the host for the student during their internship. If the enterprise failed to provide this information, the tasks performed over the course of the internship have to be filled in by the student, by answering the question: “What would I like to do at a certain position?” or they have to comply with the internship offer presented in the announcement.

The duration of the internship is determined by each Programme and presented on the website in the Student Internship tab. At the same time, Authorities have the right to change the number of hours, therefore you have to check the current number of required internship hours on the website.

  1. Does the Bureau provide assistance in finding internship?

The website of the Bureau contains a list of job, internship and traineeship offers 

  1. How can I withdraw from internship?

Students have to inform the Bureau of withdrawing from internship in writing, immediately after it occurs. A template form is available on the website of the Bureau (a statement of withdrawal from internship).

  1. When will the credit for internship be visible in the Virtual University?

The Bureau is responsible for the organisational aspects of internships, and the credit is visible only after the supervisor has entered it on the report.

  1. What year of my programme should I specify in the internship documents if I do my internship over the course of summer holidays?

Please specify the 2nd year, because students are obligated to do their internship in their 2nd year.

  1. Where can I download the internship documents?

The documents are available on the website of the Bureau, in the National Student Internship tab and in Virtual University, in the Submissions tab.

  1. Is it possible to submit the documents to the Bureau by traditional mail?

Yes, please send the documents to the following address:

After signing, the documents will be returned to the address of the sender. If you prefer another form of delivering the documents, please contact us by e-mail.

  1. How many copies of the agreement do I need to submit?

Please submit 3 identical copies of the mandatory/supplementary internship agreement/statement from an internal body for each of the contracting parties. Please remember that scans or photocopies of the agreement will not be signed.

  1. Is it possible to sign the agreement provided by the enterprise?

Yes, however, please remember that such an agreement has to be approved by the University Attorney-at-Law, thus the time needed to sign the agreement is longer. Please inform us of such a situation beforehand.

  1. Is it possible to sign an agreement during the course of the internship?

No, the agreement has to be signed by a representative of the enterprise or the University no later than on the day of commencing the internship. Please remember that the Head of the Bureau for Cooperation with Corporate Partners and University Alumni is not always available at the Bureau, because of meetings and business trips.

  1. How should I fill in the schedule in the Internship Plan and the Internship Completion Form if I completed more than 120 hours?

There are various possibilities:

  • Print the first page of the document twice.
  • Create a table similar to the one included in the document and attach it as an appendix.
  • Divide the internship in weeks, not days.

Please do not edit documents pertaining to your internship, as the template forms were introduced under Disposition No 122/16 and they have to remain unchanged.

  1. Do the signatures on documents may be scanned?

No, the signatures cannot be provided as photocopies or scans.
