JEM operates an Open Access policy. All articles published in JEM are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial International License.

This means that users can read, download, copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, remix, transform, and build upon the material, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

The first constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, is that authors control the integrity of their work, which should be properly acknowledged and cited. The second  constraint is that the material may not be used for commercial purposes. 

All users can use CC-licensed materials as long as you follow the license conditions:

• BY – You may adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material when proper attribution to the original source is provided (Attribution);
• NC - You may adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material only for any non-commercial purposes (NonCommercial).
