About Us
The Department of Strategic and Regional Studies is present at the Faculty of Economics since it has been established in 1992. Twelve fellows are currently involved in the Department, focusing their research and teaching interests on urban and regional economics. Advances in economic theory as well as issues in regional and urban management are within the scope of activities of the team. The most characteristic keywords to be pointed out are: strategic management, project management, public service management, urban economics, urban consumption, urban audit. They are reflected in publications, research projects and expertise. The Department mainly runs courses within two majors: Spatial Economy and Economics.
