This book aims to present the results of the research into the investment attractiveness of the Silesian Voivodship. The authors made an attempt to find the answers to the following questions: what determines the current attractiveness of the Silesian Voivodship as an area of investment expansion and which factors are going to determine its attractiveness in the future? Chapter One presents the notion of a region’s investment attractiveness, compared to the region’s competitiveness. Chapter Two contains the results of a multi-dimensional comparative analysis aimed at sequencing the Polish voivodships in terms of their investment attractiveness. Chapter Three presents the results of secondary research, determining the real investment attractiveness of the Silesian Voivodship. Chapter Four presents the results of direct research on the perceived investment attractiveness of the Silesian Voivodship.
