The "EUth Pages for Europe" project is an initiative of the garagErasmus Foundation, created to increase the involvement of young people in shaping the future of the European Union. It operates within the framework of the "Conference on the Future of Europe" (CoFoE for short) - a series of debates and discussions held with the active participation of EU citizens in an attempt to identify the priorities and challenges facing Europe.
In order to gather young people’s opinions and expectations for the future of the European Community local events will be organized in each of the EU Member States. As a part of the project these opinion will be collected in a publication addressed to policy-makers. Ambassadors4EUFuture - young volunteers from different EU countries, will support this process by organizing local debates in their cities.
Becoming an ambassador will provide you with the opportunity to:
Participate in training sessions with experts, youth organizations, EU officials and MEPs;
Learn how to organize events involving local communities;
Spread pro-European ideas and play a key role in the debate on the future of the EU.
What are the requirements for candidates?
You have to be at least 18 years old;
Future ambassadors must have a pro-European attitude. A proven record of participation in EU exchange programs, such as Erasmus, will be an advantage;
Candidates have to be fluent in their native language and have a good command of English;
As an ambassador you will be responsible for organizing at least one event in your country. This is a minimum threshold, but the more events you are able to organize, the better;
You have to demonstrate willingness to commit to the project.
