Consumer Awareness Mobile Application Project
Between 16th and 20th of April 2018 the University of Economics in Katowice will host an international Project entitled "Consumer Awareness Mobile Application Project". Our university will be represented by International Business students.
Within the framework of this program students and lecturers from the University of Economics in Katowice, Howest University College from Belgium and Universite Savoie Mont Blanc from France will work together to design a game and a mobile application ConsuMee, which aim will be to raise consumer awareness.
The Project Consumer Awareness Mobile Application Project (CAMAP) is intended as an opportunity for students to gain both theoretical knowledge about consumer rights on international market and practical skills needed to create mobile application. Mobile application ConsuMee will be created within a framework of international didactic project entitled "Enhancing quality in innovative higher education about consumer awareness: Consume-aware". Project has obtained funding from Erasmus Plus programme. The Project itself is carried out by 8 Universities and our university is a leader.
Consumer Awareness Mobile Application Project is organized by the Vice-Rector for Education and Internationalization Prof. Sławomir Smyczek, Ph.D. along with research group Awarenet Club, working under the Department of Consumption Research and under supervision of MSc Marta Grybś-Kabocik.
