We are pleased to inform you that our colleague Mrs. Edyta Lachowicz-Santos, Director of the Office for Internationalization and Accreditation, has been elected to the General Council of the EAIE (European Association for International Education).
In April, European Association for International Education members had the opportunity to vote for candidates for expert groups, the General Council and the EAIE Board for 2020-2022. After 4 years of chairing the "Employability" expert group, Mrs Lachowicz-Santos was elected to the General Council, which, together with the Immediate Past President, provide oversight for the long-term vision, budget and accounts of the Association.
EAIE is one of the largest and most influential organizations in the world associating specialists dealing with broadly understood internationalization of higher education. The new leaders will officially begin their term in September 2020.
