Open lecture. Germany and the Visegrad Group: from Asymmetry to Complementarity?

On 31st April 2021 at 10:00 am, there will be a possibility to participate in an open lecture under the topic "Germany and the Visegrad Group: from Asymmetry to Complementarity?", given by Sebastian Płóciennik, PhD. The meeting will be conducted in English online.

The International Visegrad Fund is financing this project. Moreover, the meeting is delivered by four universities:

  • the University of Economics in Katowice (coordinating partner);
  • Mendel University in Brno;
  • the National University of Public Service in Budapest;
  • the University of Economics in Bratislava.

The topic of the lecture is the economic cooperation between Germany and the V-4 countries. What's more, a discussion will also cover strong asymmetries in trade exchange, investment and especially in the area of innovation. Every one, who's interested in CEE countries, may learn more about their model of capitalism and possibly discuss chances for a more complementary relation with Germany.

Participation is free, no registration for the meeting is required.
