Between 12th and 16th of February International Relations Office and Erasmus Student Network with have organised Orientation Week for international students who just started their studies at our University.
This semester 66 new students arrived to study in Katowice, together with 38 students who stayed here for the second semester it gives 104 studying at UEKatowice.
We have hosted new international students from: Greece, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Portugal, Brazil, Colombia, Albania, Taiwan, Korea, Slovakia, Slovenia, Azerbaijan, Romania, France, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Serbia and The Netherlands.
Orientation Week is a great opportunity to get to know Poland and Silesia better and integrate with all the students. The orientation will end with Global Village, during which students will have the opportunity to taste food from all over the world and have a look at many cultures from a different perspective.
