Students at the UE Katowice work with the most innovative ERP systems
Students of International Business, a program taught entirely in English, undergo training on ERP systems. Practical training based on the SAP Business One system is supported by Altab S.A. – SAP Golden Partner.
Full-time students will get to know the tools supporting their start in the business world. International Business is a unique programe, one of a kind, taught entirely in English at Polish HEIs. It prepares future managers to work in the business multicultural environment. The students learn how to operate one of the most commonly used software in the world; produced in Germany: SAP Business One. In this scope the University of Economics in Katowice cooperates with Altab S.A. – SAP Golden Partner, and within the agreement the University has the possibility of using the SAP Business One license for teaching purposes.

Working with the SAP Business One system, one of the best ERP systems for management in the medium companies sector, is supposed to facilitate this.The SAP Business One includes finance and accounting, sales management and relations with customers, supply and automation of business processes, distribution, reporting and administration - everything in one place. Students may then learn all the most important functions which make up efficient management of an enterprise" – CEO Altab S.A. Pawel Matejko emphasized.

Anna Sołtysik-Piorunkiewicz from the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Economics in Katowice said. – "Studies in this field offer an unique and innovative programme in the scope of international business based on solid foundations of economics, law, finances and management. They are focused on current phenomena taking place in the European and global economy, international conditions of carrying out business as well as technological trends and tools functioning in many international organizations" – she added.
The Business Information Systems course within the International Business (full-time Master’s degree programme) enjoys high interest as it is taught in English and in small international groups. The studies are to prepare managers for work in the global market and put emphasis on the practical use of the developed skills.
