90 Stories
The University's great history is made up of the small stories of people. We are collecting memories, anecdotes and accounts from those who studied, worked and helped shape UE Katowice over successive decades.
To mark the 90th Anniversary of the University of Economics in Katowice, we are preparing a special commemorative publication entitled "90 Stories for 90 Years". It will be a collection of personal memories, anecdotes, photographs and short stories contributed by people connected with our University.
We have invited alumni, students, doctoral students, employees, retired employees, partners and friends of the University to take part in the project. Together, we want to create a publication that will present the history of the University not only through dates and events, but above all through people, their experiences, emotions and memories.
Each story forms part of a larger narrative about the University of Economics in Katowice. We are interested both in memories from years gone by and in contemporary stories - connected with studies, work, research, events, trips, campus life or important encounters.
The publication is scheduled to premiere in January 2027.
