Justyna Matysiewicz is a researcher at the Department of Consumer Research at the University of Economics in Katowice, specializing in marketing.  She received her Ph.D. and Habilitation from the University of Economics in Katowice. She has been a visiting professor at Kanan University in Taiwan and the University of Savoie MB in France. Currently, she is the Dean of the School of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies and Vice-President of the European University Network Dukenet. She has been in charge of research and teaching projects with European Union funding. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Global Business Research Symposium Conference at St John's University, New York. She is also an Ambassador for the MAG Scholar Marketing in Asia Group, New Zealand.
