ERASMUS+ GENERAL INFORMATION

The Erasmus+ programme in the form specially dedicated to MERCURI gives you possibility of comprehensive development thanks to the offer of carefully selected partner universities. Within the programme you have the opportunity to study in Germany and do a traineeship (minimum 2 months), which allows you to improve your language skills as well as explore cultural diversity of given European countries. Student mobilities take place at the following partner universities:

  1. Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany) - on the 3rd semester of studies
  2. Obligatory traineeship in one of the EU countries - on the 4th semester of studies 

ERASMUS+ SCHOLARSHIP

During studies at the Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany) students can receive a scholarship in the amount of EUR 550 monthly; in the last semester, during traineeship coordinated by CEU Universidad Cardenal Herrera (Spain), students can receive a monthly scholarship within the Erasmus+ mobility capital (provided all recruitment conditions are met).

Mobility in Germany

In order to spend the third semester of studies at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany) within the Erasmus+ programme you need to apply for a place in March.

Traineeship

In order to realize the traineeship coordinated by CEU Universidad Cardenal Herrera, in the fourth semester of studies within the Erasmus+ programme you need to apply minimum one month before the beginning of mobility, as according to the rules published on the website of the International Relations office. 

Formal criteria

In order to apply for the Erasmus+ scholarship for studies you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Grade average – 3.5
  • Dean’s and Program Coordinator’s approval
  • Minimum B2 level of English

In order to apply for the Erasmus+ scholarship for traineeship you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Dean’s and Program Coordinator’s approval
  • Confirmation from the company
  • Minimum B2 level of English

The application process step by step

  1. Before applying online prepare the following documents:
    • Your photograph (size 4,5 cm x 5,5 cm, 500 kB)
    • Identity Card/Passport
    • Student ID Card
  2. Fill in the online application form (in English). The link is available on the following website: https://www.ue.katowice.pl/en/organizational-units/international-relations/international-programs/mobility-for-studies/erasmus-with-programme-countries/current-recruitment.html
  3. Wait for an email from the International Relations office regarding your qualification.
  4. Send a reply to the International Relations office with your acceptance of the Erasmus+ scholarship.
  5. Read carefully information about the application documents required by the receiving institution (application documents, deadlines, accommodation).
  6. Take part in the meeting for qualified students.
