On September 29, adaptation meetings were held for candidates admitted to full-time Bachelor's Degree Programs during which the most important information about the University and studying was presented. For those who could not attend the meeting we list below all necessary instructions to help you properly prepare for the first class.

The most important information for new students:
You should activate an account at the Virtual University where you can find:
information about the fee for the student ID card. Please pay the fee to the bank account number (tab ‘Student details / Finances’) in the title of the transfer write ‘fee for the student ID card’,
information about the dean's group to which the student has been assigned (tab ‘Student / Group Data’),
information about the language groups to which the student has been assigned based on the language questionnaires submitted during the recruitment process (tab ‘Student / Group Data’),

Please activate your account in the edu.uekat.pl domain (Google G Suite service - details), which will be used throughout the study period to contact university employees (by e-mail). The account will also be necessary to log into other university IT systems, including online education. It also ensures proper protection of the personal data of our students.
Procedures
Full-time students (Bachelor's Degree Programs) who have not yet signed the student's commitment, oath and have not collected the student ID card are invited to contact the tutor at the dean's office in order to arrange a meeting and complete the formalities:

During the visit to the dean's office, it will be possible to purchase accident insurance offered by Ergo Hestia; the cost of insurance is PLN 70 per year.
Full-time students (Master’s Degree Programs) are invited on October 9 and 12 to complete all formalities. E-mails with an invitation for a specific time and day have been sent to the address provided during recruitment. Students from additional recruitment are invited to contact individually with the tutor in order to arrange a meeting and complete the formalities.
Please come to the meeting with your ID card and your own pen. Due to the standards and restrictions at the University of Economics in Katowice, it is necessary to arrive on time for the meeting. Covering the mouth and nose with a mask or visor mask is obligatory.
