On March 6, 2023, a lecture by Prof. Reggie Hooghiemstra on corporate social responsibility and sustainability in the context of climate change was held in room No. 2/19 of CNTI building. The meeting enjoyed great popularity among our students.
A large crowd of students attended the meeting with Prof. Reggie Hooghiemster. The lecture was interactive, with Prof. Hooghiemster presenting individual issues related to the definition of corporate social responsibility and the influence of the CEO on CSR, among other things, discussing them based on his own experience and the examples of people well-known to the students. Participants were eager to answer questions and actively participated in the discussion, proposing interesting solutions to all sorts of problems.
Prof. Reggie Hooghiemstra is a specialist in the field of non-financial reporting and corporate governance from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
The lecture was held within the framework of "ECOnomics4Climate Learning from Masters: Prof. Reggie Hooghiemstra" project, which has received funding from the Metropolis GZM within the framework of the "Metropolitan Fund for Support of Science" Program for the years 2022-2024.
