Conference Format
The IAC 2026 will be organised in a format that builds upon the successful model developed during the previous three editions of the Conference. Combining academic excellence with opportunities for policy and industry dialogue, the event will provide a platform for researchers, policymakers, regulators and practitioners to exchange ideas on the most pressing challenges facing the contemporary energy sector.
The Conference will be held over two days and will include keynote lectures, plenary sessions, thematic paper panels and policy-oriented discussion panels. Participants will have the opportunity to present their research findings, engage in interdisciplinary debate and contribute to discussions on current developments in energy law, economics, policy and governance.
The programme will feature:
- keynote lectures delivered by distinguished international experts;
- plenary sessions with invited speakers;
- thematic parallel sessions based on accepted abstract submissions;
- policy discussion panels involving representatives of public institutions, regulators, industry and academia.
Presentations delivered within the academic panels are expected to last approximately 15–20 minutes, followed by discussion with participants.

International Day
The first day of the Conference will be conducted entirely in English and will maintain the international character that has distinguished the event since its inception. The programme will include keynote lectures, a plenary session featuring invited international speakers, a policy panel involving policymakers and energy-sector stakeholders, and parallel thematic sessions dedicated to the Conference's principal themes. The afternoon programme will consist of parallel academic panels, providing participants with an opportunity to present research and engage in discussion with scholars and practitioners from different countries and disciplines.
National Day
The second day of the Conference will be conducted entirely in Polish and will focus on legal, economic, regulatory and social aspects of the energy transition in Poland and Europe. The programme will include a plenary session followed by parallel thematic sessions. In addition to traditional academic presentations, selected discussion panels may be organised to facilitate debate on current policy and regulatory challenges.
