Guest lecture by an expert in the subject of Corporate Finance
On April 17, 2025, we hosted expert dr Tomasz Jastrząb from Technicenter Sp. z o.o. At the invitation of dr Małgorzata Lipowicz, the guest delivered a lecture for students of the Finance and Accounting program at the Rybnik Branch as part of the Corporate Finance course.
Dr Tomasz Jastrząb specializes in designing control systems using AI. He is an expert in data analysis and processing and the author of the eanaliza.pl system, which was developed in collaboration with, among others, academics from the University of Economics in Katowice. He has developed and continues to develop a website that publishes industry analytical indicators based on financial data provided by the Central Statistical Office (GUS).
A lecture on the use of analytical tools in corporate finance presented the application of the eanaliza.pl system to financial issues in enterprises. The Knowledge Base module can be used by students to assist them in learning the subject and build future competencies in the job market. The Industry Indicators website was also presented, providing a resource with benchmarks for analysis, studies, and a source of data for comparative purposes. Thanks to its practical nature, the guest lecture inspired students to put their acquired knowledge and skills into practice.
