Participation of the Department's employees in the 13th National Scientific Conference FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - HUMAN - ENVIRONMENT
The 13th National Scientific Conference "FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - HUMAN - ENVIRONMENT" took place on April 14-15, 2026. It was organized by the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Wrocław University of Economics and the Department of Financial Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
The thematic scope of this year's conference included issues related to sustainable development in the theory of economics, finance, and accounting, as well as the role of state policy in shaping it. The financial sector in light of the challenges of sustainable development, as well as the issue of sustainable local and regional development, were also a focus of discussion. Public finances in the context of maintaining sustainable development, as well as issues related to economic and social security, were important areas of discussion. The tax system in relation to social inequality was also discussed.
Department employees actively participated in the conference, presenting their research results:
- dr hab. Joanna Błach, prof. UE – Transformacja ESG przedsiębiorstwa - przegląd systematyczny i mapowanie tematyki badań,
- dr Małgorzata Lipowicz – Zrównoważone finansowanie działalności samorządów poprzez wykorzystanie obligacji – perspektywa inwestorów indywidualnych
- dr inż. Iwona Gorzeń-Mitka – Postawy kierownicze jako kanał transmisji między kontekstem instytucjonalnym, ładem korporacyjnym i zarządzaniem SDG (współprezentująca: dr inż. Monika Sipa – Politechnika Częstochowska).
The participation of Department employees in the conference created a valuable platform for disseminating research results and enabled an in-depth exchange of knowledge and experiences with representatives of other academic centers.
