Participation of the Department's employees in the 18th Scientific Conference STRATEGIES FOR DECISION MAKING IN CONFLICT AND COOPERATION SITUATIONS 2024
The 18th Scientific Conference STRATEGIES IN DECISION MAKING IN CONFLICT AND COOPERATION SITUATIONS 2024 was held on June 17-18, 2024, organized by the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Silesian University of Technology in Ustroń. The main theme of this year's edition: Reinforcing management in the era of contradiction. The conference was held under the substantive patronage of the Committee for Organizational and Management Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, IPMA Poland and the Sectoral Council for IT Competencies.
The conference is an annual forum for exchanging views and experiences related to decision-making and strategy development in organizations.
Among many participants, representing leading scientific units in Poland, employees of our Department presented their research:
- Dr Danuta Kozłowska-Makóś: TRANSFER PRICING POLICY AND TAX STRATEGIES IN THE AREA OF ESG TRANSFORMATION OF CAPITAL-RELATED ENTERPRISES;
- Dr inż. Iwona Gorzeń-Mitka: GREEN PERSPECTIVE OF RISK MANAGEMENT: EXPLORATION OF CONSTRUCTS WITHIN CONCEPT MAPPING
(research carried out as part of the "ECOnimics4Climate II" project co-financed by the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis under the "Metropolitan Science Support Fund" program in 2022-2024 as part of the project initiative entitled Management of the risk of green transformation in companies from innovative industries).
