Participation of the department employee in the 22nd National Congress of Economists
The 22nd National Congress of Economists (formerly the Congress of Economics Departments), organized by the University of Szczecin, took place in Międzyzdroje from June 7–10, 2026. The conference provided a forum for the integration of academics, the exchange of views, and the presentation of research results on broadly understood issues of economics, finance, and management, as well as the functioning of the economy in its various dimensions.
Mgr Krzysztof Pałęga, a member of our Department, actively participated in the event, presenting a paper entitled "Financial and Non-Financial Causes of the Insolvency of Companies in the Silesian Voivodeship." He presented the results of his research:
The topic of the presentation focused on the significant conditions and determinants affecting the financial condition, stability, and risk of insolvency of enterprises operating in the Silesian Voivodeship.
