Success of a student supervised by dr Danuta Kozłowska-Makóś in the competition for the best bachelor's thesis

Dr Danuta Kozłowska-Makóś's student, Małgorzata Tunkiewicz, won third place in the competition for the best bachelor's thesis on taxation, which was announced as part of the 12th Scientific Conference in the "Taxes – Finance – Enterprise" series, devoted to the topic of "Forms of Employment and Fiscal Burdens."

The event was organized by the Department of Public Finance of the University of Economics in Katowice and the National Chamber of Tax Advisers – Katowice Branch, further underscoring the importance and expert nature of the event.

The winning thesis, titled "The Role of Women in Shaping Tax Policy in the Area of CSR," addresses a timely and interdisciplinary issue at the intersection of public finance, corporate social responsibility, and equality issues, contributing to the ongoing reflection on the importance of women in the processes of shaping modern, responsible fiscal policy. The author maturely and analytically explores the influence of women on the development of tax policy in the context of CSR values, highlighting their role in promoting more sustainable and ethical systemic solutions.

This distinction confirms the high level of substantive work and the quality of research supervision provided by Dr. Danuta Kozłowska-Makóś. It also demonstrates the Department's effective support for the development of young researchers and the strengthening of an interdisciplinary approach to public finance and tax policy.
