The project's primary goal is to implement an innovative teaching method, i.e. blended education, which includes integrating decentralized finance (DEFI) with artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the quality of classroom learning. Careful observation of the educational process (in financial education) involving the project team, as well as the research results available in the literature, confirm the need to implement innovative educational solutions.

The intermediate aim is to increase awareness among faculty and students of the problems concerning using artificial intelligence in the educational process. It is an essential and up-to-date matter of financial education at every level of education in every social group, especially among young people beginning their financial independence.

Range of the project:

1. Organizing expert workshops for our University's teachers presenting the principles of the blended education method using artificial intelligence (AI) in decentralized finance (DEFI).
2. Preparing case study materials on the implementation/application of said method.
3. Developing a manual containing guidelines for implementing the blended education methodology.
4. Preparing syllabuses and scenarios for conducting classes using the method.
5. Piloting the implementation of blended education-based classes.
6. Disseminating project results regionally, nationally and internationally.

The project is coordinated by dr hab. Bożena Frączek, prof. UE.  It is part of the cluster project "Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in Finance" carried out by Prof. Frączek who is implementing the project with the support of Internationalization. 

The "Implementing Blended Education in decentralized finance (DEFI) using artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence AI)" project has been co-financed by the Metropolis GZM within the framework of the "Metropolitan Science and Education Support Fund" program for the years 2022-2024 in the amount of PLN 42,930.00.
