Message from the Rector concerning the temporary introduction of classes conducted with the use of distance learning methods, as well as work on rotation basis for non-academic staff

Ladies and Gentlemen,

bearing in mind the rapidly changing epidemic situation in the country and in consideration of the general health and safety, as well as the concerns voiced by the academic community, we decided to temporarily introduce distance learning and change the mode of work for non-academic staff from January 22 to February 18, 2022.

The decision regarding the courses delivery method in the summer semester of the academic year 2021/2022 will be made and announced at least 2 weeks before the beginning of the semester and will depend on the current epidemic situation in the country.

At the same time I would like to assure you that the University follows the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. Arrangements concerning the method of course delivery are preceded by a thorough analysis of epidemiological recommendations and numerous consultations with representatives of other Polish universities, including economic universities. Above all, these measures result from a deep concern for the health of members of the academic community, as well as the quality of education provided by the University.

Prof. Celina M. Olszak, Ph.D., D.Sc.

Rector
