Rector’s Letter to the Academic Community

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Dear Members of the Academic Community,

The holiday season, which gave us all a chance to take a break from our daily duties, is coming to an end. I hope that you enjoyed its warm and joyful atmosphere in a good health.

The year 2022 presents us with new challenges, especially in light of the still prevailing SARS- CoV2 pandemic. However, I believe that this year we will be able to safely return to the classes conducted wholly on campus.

In accordance with the information provided in the Announcement of December 15, 2021 on the temporary introduction of remote learning, and pursuant to Rector’s Order No. 128/21 of September 29, 2021, I kindly remind you that immediately after the University Day, that if from January 12, 2022, we will return to the previously introduced hybrid mode of education. Regardless of this fact, the epidemiological situation will be constantly monitored and the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science and the sanitary services will be observed.

In the interest of shared safety, it is necessary for all of us to demonstrate responsibility by adhering to the sanitary safety rules on campus, including minimizing the risk of coronavirus infection through the distance-disinfection-mask principle and vaccination.

As for the New Year wishes, I wish you all the best and may your dreams and goals come true. I hope that this year will bring us all prosperity, but most importantly, good health!
