We are proud to announce that Dr Milena Gojny-Zbierowska has been awarded a prestigious research fellowship from the University of Louisville College of Business Center for Positive Leadership. Her project, titled “Everyday Micro-Behaviors of Positive Leaders: How Small Acts of Gratitude, Empathy, and Recognition Foster Daily Thriving at Work,” was selected from among hundreds of international submissions.
Dr Gojny-Zbierowska is also the first recipient from Europe to receive this honor and to join the distinguished group of Fellows of the Project on Positive Leadership.
Over the coming year, Dr Gojny-Zbierowska will conduct an in-depth research project examining how leaders’ micro-behaviors—such as expressions of gratitude, empathy, and recognition—shape employees’ daily well-being and thriving at work.
This prestigious distinction highlights the global relevance of Dr Gojny-Zbierowska research and the growing international impact of our University in advancing the science of positive leadership.
