Her Magnificence the Rector and the Senate of the University of Economics in Katowice are pleased to invite you to the official inauguration of the academic year 2022/2023, which will be held on October 6 at 11:00 am in the Józef Lisak lecture hall.
Ceremony program:
- national anthem
- speech by Rector Professor Celina M. Olszak, Ph.D., D.Sc.
- immatriculation
- conferring the title of Doctor Honoris Causa on Professor Bogdan Nogalski, Ph.D.
- presentation of appointments to the members of the University Council
- opening lecture by Professor Bogdan Nogalski entitled "Management in the age of artificial intelligence"
The unveiling of the Doctor Honoris Causa plaque in the Avenue of Oaks will take place at 3:00 pm.
The inauguration will be accompanied by a performance by the Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice.
