From June 13th to 16th, this year's edition of the "International Research Symposium in Service Management" will take place at our university (Aula CNTI). The event is organized by Professor Jay Kandampully from Ohio State University in the USA, with the collaboration of the Department of Consumer Studies at the University of Economics in Katowice.
The conference will focus on the role of services in achieving sustainable economic development and social well-being.
On the first day of the conference, June 13, there will be a methodological workshop for young researchers led by experienced professors from various universities around the world:
- dr Jay Kandampully,
- Joan Ball,
- Srikanth Beldona,
- Yuksel Ekinci.
The other three consecutive days will feature debates with speakers:
- Tymoteusz Doligalski,
- prof. Stéphane Ganassali,
- Mateusz Hilgner.
Both the workshop and the debates will be held in English.

The best papers presented at the conference will be awarded publication in the Journal of Service Management (JOSM), and a post-conference monograph will also be published.
