The Grand Colorful Parade traditionally made its way through the city streets, reaching the Powstańców Śląskich Park, where representatives of the city and higher education institutions awaited the students.

On this beautiful day in May, we are delighted to be here with you, and these few days belong to you entirely! Enjoy yourselves safely and stay healthy, and return to your universities. Afterwards, by saying the phrase "From this moment on, you become the hosts of the city," Mayor Marcin Krupa officially handed over the keys to the city gates to the students.
