Between June 26 and 30, 2023, during the implementation of the "Experiential education. Interactive/Intensive course of European brand management -BrandY" international project (with our University as the Project Leader), an official agreement establishing the new International Master in Intercultural Business (Magellan) joint study program was presented to Prof. Alvaro Anton, Vice-Rector for Internationalization at Universidad CEU Cardenal Hererra, by Prof. Sławomir Smyczek Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations.
Magellan is an international graduate study program developed by four European universities: the University of Economics in Katowice, the University of Debrecen, the University of Economics in Varna and Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera. The highlight of this program is that graduates receive diplomas issued by each of the four universities. During the ceremony, there were talks on expanding cooperation during the European Master in Customer Relationship Marketing program, particularly within the framework of Erasmus Mundus.
During the stay at Universidad CEU Cardenal Hererra, talks were also held with Prof. Jutta Emes, Rector of Bauhaus-Universitat Weimar, regarding the development of cooperation within the BAUHAUS4EU consortium of European universities, both in the area of conducting joint studies, implementing scientific projects, cooperation with the business environment, and student, academic and administrative exchanges.
In addition, work has been carried out on the preparation of a new international project: SUCCESS – Sustainable Choices, Climate Education & Support for Students within the framework of EUKI's European Climate Initiative with Prof. Magdalena Iordache Platis, Vice-Rector of the University of Bucharest.
