On June 23, 2025, we held the official Summary Ceremony of the Uni Buddy Program 2024/2025. We are proud and delighted to note that this was already the fourth edition of the program, which continues to grow and bring together an engaged and diverse group of students. The event was a meaningful opportunity for reflection, connection, and celebration of the achievements of all participants who have actively supported our international student community throughout the year.
During the event, official certificates of participation were awarded to Uni Buddies - students actively supporting newly arrived international students. The certificates were presented by the Vice-Rector for Teaching and International Relations prof. dr hab. Wojciech Dyduch.
The most active Uni Buddies received additional recognition and awards for their outstanding commitment and contribution to the internationalization of our university.
The event also served as a moment to review the key highlights of the academic year 2024/2025 - events that Uni Buddies either co-created or actively participated in, ranging from integration meetings to intercultural initiatives.
Notably, almost 50% of Uni Buddies were international students themselves, which beautifully reflects the inclusive spirit of the programme. These students understand best the challenges faced by newcomers and know how to offer meaningful support.
At the end of the meeting, participants shared ideas and suggestions for further improving the programme in the next edition.
