Oskar Winkler, representing Academic Sports Club UE Katowice, competes at the Jiu-Jitsu World Championships!

Student from the Faculty of Management & an athlete from UE Katowice - Oskar Winkler is participating in the U16-U18-U21 Jiu-Jitsu World Championships in Heraklion, Crete, from October 28th to November 4th, 2024. Oskar is competing in the U21 Men's 77kg category, with his matches scheduled for Tuesday, October 29th. This will be his final competition in this age category.

Oskar has a long list of accomplishments, including:

• podium place at the Polish Championships in 2024,
• podium place at the European Championships in Romania in 2024,
• podium place at the Balkan Open Regional Tournament in Montenegro in 2023.
