On June 12, Rector Prof. Celina M. Olszak, Ph.D., D.Sc, was appointed as a member of the Committee on Organization and Management Sciences at the Division I: Humanities and Social Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the 2024-2027 term.
The Committee of Organization and Management Sciences, established in 1969, represents the discipline of management and quality sciences withinthe Polish Academy of Sciences. The Committee's mission is to stimulate the development of organisation and management sciences in Poland and to promote management achievements and their authors in other scientific communities and in practice
The Committee's objectives are:
- Representing the field of management and quality sciences to other sciences, the authorities of the Polish Academy of Sciences and its other committees, the government, international organizations dealing with management, and the public,
- Raising the scientific level of individuals and institutions that form the environment of management and quality sciences,
- Promoting and disseminating the best practices in science,
- Actively influencing local communities and practitioners to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of management,
- Integrating the management community.
