Two global events will be held within the framework of sustainability and justice for a better world: global energy poverty, renewable energy, climate change, smart cities…
- 23rd January, 2019. IEEE EMPOWER A BILLION LIVES COMPETITION. The competition is organized by IEEE, an all-volunteer organization whose goal is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. Universidad Loyola Andalucía will host the final Europe / Africa Regional Round in Sevilla. A total number of 18 groups will submit their proposals of solution to address energy poverty.
- 24th, 25th, 26th January, 2019. II GLOBAL FORUM OF LOCAL GOVERMENTS. The city of Sevilla will host the II forum and Universidad Loyola Andalucía is collaborating partner on it. The objective of this international meeting is to turn cities into more sustainable places that are committed to the management of natural spaces and that seek to be more efficient. Among the action plans are: tackling extreme poverty, fighting injustice and finding a solution to climate change.
