The Department of Strategic and Regional Studies is present at the Faculty of Spatial Economy and Regions in Transition. Sixteen fellows are currently involved in the Department, focusing their research and teaching interests on urban and regional economics. Advances in economic theory as well as issues in regional and urban management are within the scope of activities of the team. The most characteristic keywords to be pointed out are: strategic management, project management, public service management, urban economics, real estate, urban consumption, urban audit. They are reflected in publications, research projects and expertise. The Department mainly runs courses within two majors: Urban Economics and Real Estate, Spatial Economy and Economics.
