In May 2025, the University of Economics in Katowice hosted the Accreditation Committee of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) as part of the re-accreditation process for the Master’s Degree in International Business program. We are pleased to announce that in September 2025 we received confirmation of the accreditation being extended for another three years!
In 2022, our University obtained the prestigious EFMD Accredited certificate, joining the elite group of institutions that meet the highest international standards in management education. This accreditation is among the most demanding quality certifications for business programs worldwide. The evaluation process includes a detailed assessment of, among other things, the program’s position in the national and international market, its strategic importance for the university, the quality of teaching, cooperation with the business environment and alumni, as well as the qualifications of the academic staff.
