Drodzy Studenci i Uczniowie!

Zapraszamy Was do udziału w kolejnej edycji Kongresu Młodych Ekonomistów - Rybnik 2024, który odbędzie się 26 kwietnia w auli rybnickiej Filii Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego.

Program Kongresu

Lista zgłoszonych dotychczas prezentacji

 

Główną ideą Kongresu jest:

  • popularyzacja problemów teoretycznych i zagadnień praktycznych, które uważacie za szczególnie interesujące;
  • prezentacja ciekawych idei, koncepcji, zjawisk czy badań na forum publicznym, z zachowaniem swobodnej, życzliwej i nieoceniającej atmosfery, umożliwiającej doskonalenie umiejętności prezentacji i argumentacji;
  • zaprezentowanie uczestnikom Kongresu (studentom, uczniom, zaproszonym gościom) różnorodności i atrakcyjności problemów będących przedmiotem naszych studiów;
  • stworzenie okazji do doskonalenia kompetencji odpowiedzialnych za sposób prezentacji swoich poglądów, swobodę wypowiedzi, pewność siebie czy umiejętność argumentowania i panowanie nad stresem.
  • wykorzystanie Kongresu jako formy promocji studentów, wykładowców, Uczelni i Filii.

Założenia organizacyjne:

  • uczestnikami Kongresu mogą być wszyscy studenci Filii w Rybniku i zaproszeni goście. Gotowość wystąpienia w trakcie Kongresu winna być zgłoszona w porozumieniu z osobą, która podejmie się roli opiekuna merytorycznego (promotor, wykładowca);
  • wystąpienie w trakcie Kongresu polega na kilkuminutowej (7-8 min) prezentacji ciekawego problemu teoretycznego, empirycznego, projektowego;
  • prezentowany problem może być wprost związany z pisaną pracą dyplomową/magisterską, może być fragmentem podejmowanych w niej zagadnień, może też być związany z pracą bardzo luźno lub w ogóle;
  • prezentacje powinny mieć raczej charakter problemowy, a nie opisowy. Preferowane tytuły mogą zaczynać się od fraz: Jak ..., Dlaczego …., Po co …., Kiedy …., Dla kogo ….., Czy ….
  • forma prezentacji może być dowolna. Wykorzystajcie pełną swobodę ekspresji! Stosujcie do woli alternatywne środki wyrazu, takie jak: dyskusja, quizy, film, poster itd.  Ważne, byście podzielili się z nami czymś, co uznajecie za szczególnie interesujące.

Wzorem roku ubiegłego Kongres będzie składał się z dwóch sesji prezentacyjnych. Prezentacje mogą być w języku polskim lub angielskim. W przerwie między sesjami zapraszamy na wykład zaproszonego gościa.

Wszyscy prezentujący otrzymają imienne certyfikaty potwierdzające udział w Kongresie.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Congress of Young Economists - Rybnik 2023, which will be held on 26 April in the auditorium of the Rybnik Branch of the University of Economics.

The main goals of the Congress are:

  • Popularization of theoretical problems and practical issues that you find particularly interesting;
  • Sharing interesting ideas, concepts, and research in public in relaxed, friendly, and non-judgmental atmosphere, enabling you to improve your presentation and argumentation skills;
  • Presenting participants (students, students, invited guests) with the diversity and attractiveness of the problems that are the subject of our studies;
  • Creating an opportunity to improve the competencies of presenting one's views, exercising freedom of speech, self-confidence, or the ability to argue and manage stress.
  • Promoting the students’ and lecturers’ achievements in research, the University, and the Branch.

 

Organizational matters:

  • Participants of the Congress can be all students of the Branch in Rybnik and invited guests. 
  • Everyone eager to make a presentation during the Congress should consult it with a promoter or lecturer who will agree to take on the role of a supervisor/mentor
  • A Congress presentation should last 7 - 8 min and address an interesting problem (theoretical, empirical, or design);
  • The presented problem may be directly related to the Bachelor’s /Master's thesis being prepared, or to a fragment of the issues undertaken. It may be related to the thesis very loosely or not at all;
  • Presentations should be problem-based rather than descriptive. Preferred titles may begin with the following phrases: Why ...., Why ...., When ...., For whom .....,etc.
  • The presentation can take any form. There is full freedom of expression, including such means as: discussion, quizzes, films, posters, etc. The key assumption is to share something that you find particularly interesting.

The Congress will consist of two sessions of the presentations (in polish ang english). All presenters will receive certificates confirming their participation in the Congress
