Offer of degree programmes taught in English at UE Katowice

First-cycle degree programmes (Bachelor’s) - 6 semesters

  • Finance and Accounting for Business - a programme preparing students for careers in the financial sector, international institutions, and consulting firms.
  • International Business - a degree programme for those interested in management, international trade, and business strategy in global markets.

Second-cycle degree programmes (Master’s) - 4 semesters

  • E-commerce - a modern programme combining economics with digital technologies and e-commerce management.
  • International Business - a continuation of bachelor’s studies, allowing students to further develop their competencies in international business management.
  • Finance and Accounting for Business - ithin this programme, students have the opportunity to obtain a double degree. The programme is delivered in cooperation with the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society in Germany.

Specialisations within second-cycle degree programmes

  • Quantitative Asset and Risk Management (ARIMA) - advanced financial analysis and risk management. This programme is offered within the Finance and Accounting degree; graduates receive a diploma in Finance and Accounting. There is also an opportunity to obtain a Double Degree within this programme.
  • European Master’s in Customer Relationship Marketing (MERCURI) - a specialised programme focused on customer relationship management on a global scale. This programme is offered within the International Business degree; graduates receive a diploma in International Business and diplomas from partner universities.
  • International Master in Intercultural Business (MAGELLAN) - an international master’s programme focusing on intercultural management. This programme is offered within the International Business degree; graduates receive a diploma in International Business and diplomas from partner universities.

International opportunities for students

Studying in English is not only about gaining knowledge, but also about acquiring practical experience in an international environment. UE Katowice offers its students the opportunity to:

  • take part in international exchanges under the Erasmus+ programme, which enables students to study at partner universities across Europe and beyond;
  • participate in international projects that allow cooperation with foreign universities and businesses;
  • cooperate with global companies under partnership agreements that are continuously expanding, providing students with internships and placements in international corporations.

Exemptions from the qualification interview

  • International Business*: Graduates of higher education institutions from the European Union who have completed first- or second-cycle studies conducted in English in economics or related fields, as well as graduates of these programs taught in other languages, provided they can document their English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • Finance and Accounting for Business: Graduates of universities of economics within the European Union or graduates of first- and second-cycle degree programs in economics or related fields offered by universities within the European Union are exempt from the qualification interview, provided they can document their English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • Quantitative Asset and Risk Management (ARIMA): Graduates of higher education institutions from the European Union who have completed first- or second-cycle studies and have obtained at least 15 ECTS credits in courses related to quantitative methods, economics and finance during their studies are exempt from the qualification interview, provided they can document their English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • E-commerce: Graduates of higher education institutions from the European Union who have completed first- or second-cycle studies in economics or related fields are exempt from the qualification interview, provided they can document their English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

* No interview exemptions are granted for candidates applying for the European Master's in Customer Relationship Marketing (MERCURI) or the International Master in Intercultural Business (MAGELLAN) specialisations within the International Business program.
