A Department employee - the supervisor of the competition winner

Sebastian Wazia, a first-year student of Finance and Accounting, won second place in the competition for the best student paper submitted to the 13th International Scientific Conference "Contemporary Problems of Economic Development – Challenges of the Digital Economy," which took place on May 30, 2025, at the Warsaw University of Technology, Płock Branch.

The event was organized by the College of Economics and Social Sciences of the Warsaw University of Technology, Płock Branch, in cooperation with the SONDA Scientific Club. The competition jury was chaired by Dr. hab. Piotr Urbanek, professor WUT.

Mr. Sebastian Wazia's winning paper, "Cybersecurity in Micro and Small Enterprises – Results of Exploratory Research," was prepared under the supervision of dr inż. Iwona Gorzeń-Mitka.
