Michał Brożek – Conductor
A conductor, organist, composer, music teacher. He graduated the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. In 2009 he completed his first-cycle studies in two specializations: Music education and Conducting the Vocal and Vocal-Instrumental Ensembles, as well as in the specialization of Church music. In 2011 he completed his second-cycle studies cum laude in the specializations of: Choral conducting and theoretical and musical subjects in the conducting class led by prof. Iwona Melson, Ph.D., as well as Music education and theoretical and musical subjects. In 2010 he took part in the 13th Polish national Contest for Choral Conductors in Poznań. He also developed his experience as a chorister working with, among others, the Chamber Choir of the Academy of Music in Katowice conducted by director prof. Czesław Freund. During his studies, in 2008, he founded the “Cantante Deo” Choir at the Church of the Holy Cross in Tychy. They win prizes and awards together at choral reviews and festivals. He is also a music teacher in Primary School No. 3 in Lędziny and Primary School No. 6 in Tychy. In 2013 he took up the post of the Conductor of the Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice. Since 2015 he has been an artistic director of the Regional Review of Christmas Carols [Rejonowy Przegląd Kolęd i Pastorałek] in Tychy organized for primary, junior-high school and secondary schools. He recorded 3 albums: Requiem composed by Gabriel Faure (2014) and albums with carols recorded with the "Cantate Deo" Choir (2015) and the Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice (2016)
Natalia Łukaszewicz-Charabin - Instructor
A singer, conductor, culture manager, pianist. She graduated from the Faculty of Composition, Interpretation, Education and Jazz of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice – she completed two specializations at this Faculty: Conducting the Vocal and Vocal-Instrumental Ensembles and Jazz singing. In 2010 she completed her post-graduate studies at the University of Economics in Katowice in the field of Culture Manager. In the period 2007–2010 she worked as a vocal pedagogue at the Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice. She also worked at the Song and Dance Ensemble "Śląsk" in Koszęcin and at the Youth Center in Katowice. She is currently working at the Choir of the Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice. She is also a conductor and artistic director of two choirs: Towarzystwo Śpiewacze "Dzwon" in Orzesze and "Jutrzenka" in Ornontowice. She actively participates in the activities of "The Feel Harmonic" vocal group, they won the 1st prize at the International Christmas Carols Festival in Będzin (2015), the 2nd prize in the Polish national Contest of Jeremi Przybora Songs in Warsaw (2015), the 1st prize at the Voivodship Festival "God is Being Born" ["Bóg się rodzi"] in Żory (2016) and with the Early Music Ensemble "Cantus Floridus", conducted by Szymon Bywalec, with whom she performed during multiple concerts and festivals. She cooperates with various artistic institutions in Poland and abroad. She takes part in CD and TV recordings, for instance: a solo part in the musical work "De profundis" by Michał Dobrzyński from Expression CD, participation in the premiere of "St. Luke Passion" by Krzysztof Penderecki directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna, together with the Katowice City Singers' Ensemble "Camerata Silesia", first performance of LXXIV psalm for solo sopran, mixed choir and saxophone of Jarosław Mamczarski.
Kamil Gojowy - Instructor
A student of the Academy of Music in Katowice in the field of Composition, Conducting and Music theory, specialization – choral conducting. A graduate of the 1st and 2nd-degree Music School Complex in Ruda Śląska (diploma cum laude). A graduate of the vocal pedagogy class led by mgr Marta Florek, completed with the grade "excellent", and the saxophone class led by Piotr Kawczyński. A conductor of the Chamber Choir "Apertum Cor" of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish in Katowice-Zadole and an assistant to the conductor of the Choir of the University of Economics in Katowice. A saxophonist at the Entertainment Theatre in Chorzów and the Old Timers Garage Theatre in Katowice. A passionate music activist creating his own projects. In 2017, in cooperation with Tomasz Ptok, he composed, prepared and conducted Cantata on the occasion of 175 years of existence of the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Elizabeth. A co-creator of the event "Kalwaria Śląska" in the period 2015–2017. His composition "Vulnera-Rany" was performed during liturgical music workshops "Muzyka duszy" in Gdańsk. He also recorded four albums containing his works and one album with his own reconceptualizations of patriotic songs into a male choir, a string quartet, piano and organs "Pax et Bonum Tibi Polonia" (2018). A winner of the plebiscite "Unikalni" organized in 2015.
