The Transekonomik program
Would you like to check how is it to study at other Polish universities of economics? Do you want to feel the atmosphere of Erasmus without leaving our country?
If you answered yes to those questions,the Transekonomik project is just for you!
We invite students of the University of Economics in Katowice to take advantage of the possibility of studying for one semester at our partner universities of economics in Poland.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Student Parliament of the University of Economics in Katowice with the self-governments of other economic universities, you may check how student life looks in such cities as: Kraków, Poznań, Warsaw and Wrocław.

The time limit for applications for those leaving for studies
The time limit for applications for the winter semester of the academic year 2019/2020:
Recruitment takes place twice a year: in December – for the summer semester, and in May – for the winter semester. Time limits for submitting documents will be published soon.
Requirements
Full-time students may take advantage of the exchange program:
- after completing the second semester of undergraduate studies,
- after completing the first semester of the graduate studies.
The exchange program applies to students of all fields of study and is implemented on the basis of an individual educational program. Each student may participate in the exchange program once during each degree.
Studies at partner universities are free of charge. The host university provides students with the possibility of using accommodation in a student dormitory, while the costs relating to that and other maintenance costs are covered by the student participating in the exchange program.
Accommodation
Students leaving and arriving for exchange program may rely on our students belonging to the student self-governments of the university in finding accommodation. Fees relating to the costs of living are covered by the incoming student.
