A faculty member becomes the guardian of the school in Koziegłowy
On March 12, 2026, as part of the 6th edition of the "Economics Without Borders" program, a partnership agreement was signed between Maria Skłodowska-Curie High School and the University of Economics in Katowice. This event marks another step in the development of cooperation between academia and secondary schools, the goal of which is to popularize economic knowledge and support the educational development of students interested in economics, finance, and entrepreneurship.
The agreement was signed by the school's principal, Karolina Turoń-Miklas, and, on behalf of the University of Economics in Katowice, by the Vice-Rector for Education and International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. hab. Wojciech Dyduch. The agreement provides for joint educational initiatives, including the organization of lectures, workshops, meetings with university faculty, and student participation in events promoting economics.
The school’s supervisor on behalf of the University of Economics in Katowice is mgr Krzysztof Pałęga, an employee of the Department of Corporate Finance and Insurance, who will coordinate substantive cooperation and support the implementation of planned teaching and popularization activities.
