On April 22 and May 4, 2026, we hosted an expert, dr Tomasz Jastrząb from Technicenter Sp. z o.o.

At the invitation of dr Małgorzata Lipowicz, dr hab. Joanna Błach, prof. UE oraz dr inż. Iwona Gorzeń-Mitka, he led a series of expert meetings for students of Finance and Accounting (Katowice and the Rybnik branch) and the ARIMA specialization, as well as international students (Erasmus program), covering the subjects Corporate Finance, Advanced Issues in Corporate Financial Management (classes held in English), and Financial Analysis.

Dr inż. Tomasz Jastrząb specializes in designing control systems using AI. He is an expert in data analysis and processing and the author of the eanaliza.pl system, which was developed in collaboration with academics from the University of Economics in Katowice, among others. He has developed and continues to develop a website publishing industry analytical indicators based on financial data provided by the Central Statistical Office (GUS).

A lecture on the use of analytical tools in corporate finance presented the application of the eanaliza.pl system in corporate finance. The Knowledge Base module can be used by students to help them learn the subject and build future competencies in the job market. The Industry Indicators website was also presented, providing a resource with benchmarks for analysis, studies, and a source of data for comparative purposes. Thanks to its practical nature, the guest lecture inspired students to put their acquired knowledge and skills into practice.
